Although I don't think I have mentioned them on the blog very much. :)Queen Holly the Magnificenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11061266046296726613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3622512175933213050.post-18409784169696089782012-06-18T00:34:46.253-04:002012-06-18T00:34:46.253-04:00But I thought you only have chickens? But I thought you only have chickens?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3622512175933213050.post-10737537293650616042012-06-17T11:40:20.120-04:002012-06-17T11:40:20.120-04:00When i was a kid, we made loose hay with a tractor...When i was a kid, we made loose hay with a tractor. Scooped it off the field and dumped it into a big metal cage or form. When it was full, you opened the doors and pulled the stack form away leaving a stack behind. Later, we move onto round bales because they were handier. Anyways, my dad always said that the hay in those stacks was always the best because the looseness of the stack allowed it to breath and dry if any moisture got into it.Covering it is of course the best, but if you hadn't made it, it most likely would have still been good hay.Kenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17697779460254600164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3622512175933213050.post-86340549062732276062012-06-17T09:00:24.870-04:002012-06-17T09:00:24.870-04:00Use it on the animals during the long cold dark wi...Use it on the animals during the long cold dark winter of course.Queen Holly the Magnificenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11061266046296726613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3622512175933213050.post-84719500732692419262012-06-17T02:35:35.064-04:002012-06-17T02:35:35.064-04:00Haha.... awesome post!
